Starting in Marrakech, the tour goes through the High Atlas mountains through Tizi n’Tichka pass, visiting UNESCO site – the Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, and Ouarzazt Kasbah and Atlas Film studios in Ouarzazate. It advances through the Skoura palms and Valley of the Roses to arrive at Todra Gorge for the night.
On the second day, heading towards Merzouga passing through Erfoud;there is an important historical site of Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum in Rissani. At Merzouga, undertake an open aired camel trek into Erg Chebbi’s sands then spend a night in a nomad hut or in a marabout in the middle of the encompassing desert.
The last destination for the day is the Marraketch though it is preceded by the Draa valley that shows magnificent wasteland of the desert with oases to give the best of the Moroccan geological and ethnological endowment.

Program of of the 3 Day Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga
In the first morning of this 3 Day Tour From Marrakech to Merzouga , traveling starts, and the guidance leads us through the high Atlas Mountains through the Tizin Tichka pass which is at 2260 meters. The first site is one of the World Heritage sites, the Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou where will visit this beautiful Ksar. Further on, there is the city of Ouarzazate which is most known for the Taourite Kasbah and the film studios. We then move through the beautiful palm groves of Skoura and through the rose valley of Kallaat Megouna. Somewhere along the way, one gets to see some of the beautiful kasbahs on the “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs”. Last stop of our day is Todra Canyon; here we have dinner and an overnight stay.
As the sun rises our 3 day tour From Marrakech to Merzouga begins, we drive through the spectacular Atlas Mountains via Tizin Tichka pass at a height of 2260M. The first truly exiting place which I am going to present is Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah; this place is famous for its history and is considered to be a famous UNESCO world heritage. Carrying our exploration forward, the next destination is Ouarzazate famous for Taourite Kasbah and famous cinema studios but we explore the cinematic side more. Strolling around the beautiful palm Groves of Skoura and the fabulous smelling roses valley of Kallaat Megouna, we come across some of the magnificent Kasbahs along one of the holiest routes for Moroccan’s the famous “Route of the Thousand Kasbahs”. Thus, reaching Todra Canyon in the evening, we have a pleasant dinner, and spend the night in this picturesque location.
Following breakfast, you will start the 3-day Merzouga Desert trip from Marrakech going through Alnif, N’qob, and Tazarine on the road to the Draa Valley. On the way, cross desert blocks with no equals which from time to time contain some oases. Our Morocco trip goes on and we head further south to meet the town of Ouarzazate passing through the shady Draa Valley for lunch before climbing up the winding roads and through the High Atlas mountains back to Marrakech. This route presents a beautiful finale to the journey through Morocco’s ecosystems and historic and archeological sites.
