Your transport is a private vehicle with air conditioning, and it picks you up late in the afternoon; the drive takes 45 minutes. Traditional Saharan robes go on when you arrive, and you spend an hour riding across the rocky ground while the sun goes down behind the Atlas Mountains, with pauses at the viewpoints for photographs. Dinner is served afterwards in a Bedouin tent lit by lanterns, at low tables with cushions. Three courses: Moroccan salads to start, then chicken or vegetable tagine, then seasonal fruit or Moroccan pastries with mint tea. A vegetarian menu is available if you ask for it when booking.
